• Inaugural Rotblatt League season.

• Approximately 500 Carleton students, St. Olaf students, and other Northfield residents marched along Division street and up Third Steet to hold a rally in Central Park to protest U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Carleton history prof Karl Wiener was the main speaker at the Central Park rally.

• The Class of 1965 graduated from Carleton.
