• The Class of 1994 entered Carleton.
• Though it received more votes than any other candidate, the cartoon character Neckfoot was denied the crown of both homecoming king and queen. A student initiative to replace the the Knight with Neckfoot as Carleton's mascot was similarly unsuccessful.
