• The Class of 1996 graduated from Carleton.

• Julie Williams '94 and her companion Lollie Winans were murdered in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. An indictment was issued on April 10th, 2002, but charges against that suspect were later dropped February 6th, 2004. The case remains unsolved.
