Summer of 2010

• Steven G. Poskanzer replaced Robert Oden as college president.

Fall Term 2010

• The Class of 2014 entered Carleton.
• September 24: Seven inches of rain fell in 30 hours, causing the highest flood waters ever recorded in Northfield. Laird Stadium and the West Gym were flooded and the football field and practice fields were inundated. The track was damaged beyond repair. The Homecoming football game was moved to Northfield High School's Memorial Stadium. Four off-campus houses near the stadium were evacuated, displacing 31 students, but received minimal damage.

• May 23: Eclipse (Ultimate) won the Division III College Ultimate Title
• May 30: Carleton Ultimate (CUT) won the Division I College National Title
• The Class of 2011 graduated from Carleton.
