Carleton's Aikido Club was founded in the 1980s and currently practices Yoshokai Aikido (wikipedia) under the instruction of Joel Ward. The two Aikido classes listed in the course catalog can count for P.E. credit up to four times, and are not subject to the usual two-credit limit on "club sports." Classes meet in the West Gym on Monday and Wednesday nights.
