Akward
From CarlWiki
"Akward" (pronounced "ack-word") is a film made by the improv comedy group Cujokra for DVD Fest 2006 that won an Honorable Mention. Its title is an intentional misspelling of "awkward." It involves a male student facing the awkwardness of a (somewhat) normal day with constant bravado, while "The Gash (Battle Hymn for the Wounded Mathematician)" by The Flaming Lips plays in the background.
The team name used was "Pages of Time."

Summary
The film stars Tom Weishan '09. The film starts off with one man going through his daily routine: Waking up, getting dressed, brushing his teeth. As the music becomes more and more ominous the hero splits into two characters, a snazzy socialite and an "Akward" nerd. The stories of these two characters alternate with increasingly ludicrous cool and nerdy events including a vault off the back of Alex Baum '06 that leads to a double high five, a high five fight with Max Leibowitz '08, and an ill-fated pound (dap: a closed fist high five) with Max Leibowitz '08 in East Dining Hall in the next scene.
Additional bits of awkwardness occur, including saying goodbye to a friend in front of Laird, only to find that the split path they took rejoins itself, and opening a door for someone holding a package, only to allow the next door to slam on them.
In the final scene the suave hero passionately kisses a girl while the nerd takes an epic spill with a lunch tray. Then, Tom falls back into bed as the nondescript character that opened the film. Bloopers and the credits ensue.
Analysis
Like most of Cujokra's humor, the film is absurd. However, it connects to Carleton students, who regularly have awkward experiences with greeting people in passing on a small campus where everyone knows a large proportion of the student body, with holding heavy doors open for each other, and even with public kissing and dropping dining hall trays.
