Barrie Osborne '66

Barrie M. Osborne is a movie producer, executive producer, production manager, and director. He graduated from Carleton in 1966 with a B.A. in sociology. Osborne's most notable work is the Lord of the Rings trilogy; he shared the 2003 Academy Award for Best Picture for Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
In April 2004 Osborne returned to Carleton, where he spoke at convocation and at the 2004 Carleton Film Colloquim.
