Cheerboys
From CarlWiki
The Cheerboys is Carleton's student-organized cheer-leading group. Because Carleton has no formal cheerleaders, the Cheerboys lead the Carleton fans at many athletic contests. As the name implies, the group is mostly comprised on men, but women are encouraged to join as well, and the group members sometimes refer to themselves as the "gender-neutral Cheerboys."
Activities
The Cheerboys can be seen in action at many of the college's varsity and club athletic contests. Tailgating and body-painting are common before contests. During home football games the cheerboys run a lap around the track every time the Carleton team scores a touchdown. At St. Olaf games they have been known to sing a parody of the Olaf fight song, which they call "Screw Ya Ya."
Knight House
The Cheerboys were instrumental in the creation of Knight House in 2007. The house is tied closely to the group, and many members chose to live there.
