The Class of 2004 entered Carleton in September 2000, and it graduated in June 2004.

The Common Reading for the Class of 2004 was The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman.

Notable members

  • Colin "Mike" Ewers, a physics major, died while doing research at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico in June 2003. In his memory, the college annually gives the Mike Ewers Award from the Minnesota Space Grant Consortium to juniors involved in astrophysics research who share his love of astronomy and public outreach.
