Deanna Haunsperger

Deanna Haunsperger is a professor of mathematics. She began teaching at Carleton in 1994 and in 2011-12 was chair of the Mathematics Department.

She has been actively involved in the college's program to prepare secondary teachers and co-directed the Carleton College Summer Mathematics Program for women.

Haunsperger has edited Math Horizons and served as a vice president of the Mathematical Association of America.

In 2011, The Association of Women in Mathematics presented Haunsperger with its M. Gweneth Humphreys Award for work with participants in the Carleton summer program.
