Eric Hillemann

Eric 'Mad Dog' Hillemann is the Carleton College archivist. His office is on the first floor of the library. He is also currently working on a biography of Laurence Gould.[1]
Hillemann also coaches the Academic Quiz Team, and he is a question writer and editor for the National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT). In 2003 he was awarded the Carper Award, which honors individuals "for meritorious services in sustaining and enriching collegiate academic competitions." One of the best Quiz Bowl players in the country, he has appeared on more than one episode of Jeopardy and is friends with Ken Jennings, who also writes for NAQT.
