Fred B. Hill '00

Fred Burnett Hill (d. 1919) was a 1900 graduate of Carleton and later a professor of biblical literature. Sayles-Hill is named in honor of the parents of Fred B. Hill and his wife, Deborah Sayles Hill. The Hills were the original owners of Hill House, and built Parish House in 1912 as a home for their family.
