This article is about a Carleton tradition. For a DVD Fest 2005 film about that tradition, see Friday Flowers (film).
Friday Flowers in mailboxes in Sayles. The flowers themselves are wrapped in plastic and paper.

Friday Flowers are, as the name suggests, flowers sold every Friday in the Sayles-Hill Campus Center. This is the only regular occassion, other than Valentine's Day, when flowers are available for sale on campus, courtesy of a flower shop located on Division Street.

The procedure for sending Friday Flowers to someone is simple: They are sold in Great Space in Sayles, which happens to be next to the post office. Purchase the flowers, attach a card, then stick them into your target's mailbox.

Friday Flowers are commonly used to indicate romantic interest, and are sometimes used to express friendship, especially among women.
