Governance
From CarlWiki
The governance structure of Carleton College is a set of bodies operating under the Board of Trustees. These fall under two categories: Educational policy matters are decided by the faculty, voting as a whole (often on recommendations made by the ECC), while administrative matters are governed by the College Council.
Committees
As of 2006, the system created during Spring Term 1992 by the Board of Trustees, based on a recommendation by the College Council, is still in effect. It recognized four committees:
- College Council
- Committee on Student Life (CSL)
- Budget Committee - Subcommittee of the College Council
- Education and Curriculum Committee (ECC) - Replaced the Educational Policy Committee
