Culture

Japanese intersects with Carleton's culture on many fronts. Many of these are accessible to those who know nothing about the language, including Japanese Movie Night, Anime Club, and several PE classes and club sports, including Aikido and Kyudo. For those who are interested in practicing the language, there are events such as Japanese Tea Time, usually held at Parish House, a part of which is designated as Japanese House.

There are also a few Japanese-related sights on campus, most notably the Japanese Garden.

Language sequence

*205 fulfills the language requirement.
