Ken Mortenson '67

Kenneth Mortenson, Class of 1967, a New York City resident, retired in 2000 from Oppenheimer Capital, where he was a Managing Director. A 1967 graduate of Carleton College with an MBA from the University of Michigan, Mr. Mortenson began his career at Comerica Bank in Detroit, where he worked for 12 years before moving to New York and joining Oppenheimer Capital in 1981.

Mr. Mortenson serves on The Glaucoma Foundation board of directors and on the Board of Partnership With Children, a non-profit agency that makes social work services available to children in New York City public schools. (from The Glaucoma Foundation web site)

While enrolled at Carleton, Mortenson was known as a star Rotblatt slugger and a friend of Schiller.
