Midterm Break

Midterm Break is the break following the first five weeks of a ten-week term. Classes are not held the following Monday, creating a three-day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). For students who do not have Tuesday-Thursday classes, the break amounts to a four-day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) and to those few that do not have MWF classes, well, it amounts to nothing. Although some students choose to go home during midterm break, the brevity of the break makes it inconvenient to do so.

Midterm Break is the only holiday during any term, although those with few Finals are able to enjoy Dead Days as well.
