Mitch's Glasses

"Mitch's Glasses" is a short film written and directed by Drew Piston '05 and entered in DVD Fest 2005. The film contains no spoken dialogue, instead consisting of a series of montages set to music that nonetheless tell a coherent story. It won an Honorable Mention from the judge panel, and was one of two finalists for the Audience Choice award, though it was overwhelmed by "Friday Flowers."

Summary
Mitch (Danny Mintz '05) suffers from color blindness. He sends some proofs of purchase to "Cereal Industries," and soon receives a pair of large, black-rimmed glasses. To his astonishment, he finds that the novelty glasses allow him to see the world in color. He enjoys his adventures in this new world for a few days, but then finds that the girl of his dreams (Elizabeth Baribeau '06) is no longer attractive when he sees her in color. In the end, he decides to throw away the novelty glasses and pursue the girl instead.
