Mr. Movies is a movie rental store located at 600 Water Street (one block parallel to Division Street) in Northfield, placing it within a 15-minute walk of Carleton's campus. Although its popularity has waned somewhat in recent years as a result of Netflix, it continues to thrive on student business, fueled in part by its large selection of video games.

It is located near China Buffet, an inexpensive restaurant that is also popular with students.
