New Student Week

New Student Week (NSW) is the orientation season for new students, during which time freshmen form groups and participate in activities in order to get acquainted with each other before classes begin. It was formerly when all students register for their first classes, but students now register online before arriving on campus, barring a few placement tests. NSW begins on the Wednesday before each Fall Term.
