"Prospies" is a short comedy made for DVD Fest 2005. It was directed by Jeremy Sairsingh '08 and starred a cast of five other freshmen.

Summary
The film is absurdist, featuring five prospies who have extraordinary difficulty with some everyday aspects of visiting Carleton. The five characters are:
- "Lost Boy" (Jesse Saucedo '08), who is unable to even successfully enter his dorm, despite following the other four to the door.
- "Locked-Out Girl" (Marina Komarovsky '08), who consistently finds herself without her key card.
- "Arb Boy" (Dave Wen '08), who is perplexed to find himself in the Arb whenever he wakes up.
- "Food Boy" (Andy Jahn '08), whose enthusiasm for dining hall food results in his demise.
- "Map Boy" (Richard Leavelle '08), who never leaves the campus map near the Bald Spot.
At the end of the film, the caption "One Year Later" appears, and the enthusiastic freshman emerge from the campus commons of St. Olaf.
