History
SMuT was formed during winter term 1993. Prior to this, ETB was the student organization that funded and put on musicals. ETB, however, was (and is) geared toward smaller productions and those in charge did not always understand how different a process putting on a musical could be. Therefore, SMuT was spun off from ETB as its own organization.
