Summary

George (Russel O'Connell '08), preparing for a quiet evening at home, steps out in order to get some water for his tea. However, his roommate, Roger (Drew Brisbin '07), beats him there with a female acquaintance. George spends the night sleeping on an uncomfortable couch in the Second Watson lounge.

Although Roger assures George that he only "gets lucky" occassionally, Roger ends up bringing a different girl to the room on each of several nights in a short timespan. Even when George is able to stay, he finds the room in ruins from Roger's activities, and bras mysteriously manage to become scattered throughout the room. Roger's successes become so numerous that he leaves a signed Post-It note in a SWA stall saying, in reference to emergency condoms, "I.O.U. $15.10." (Emergency condoms cost 10 cents each.)

George, desperate for shelter, constructs an elaborate tent in the lounge, living like a hermit. His friend Maggie (Laura Stratford '09) shows him kindness, only to be seduced in the end, like all others, by his roommate. The film ends with Maggie encountering George on the morning after, and their future is ambiguous.

Explicitness

The film would likely have failed to qualify for DVD Fest regionals even if it had been granted an award, since the DVD Fest rules state that, for a film to be eligible for the regional competition, "it must conform to the MPAA PG rating." "Sexiled" featured:

  • Repeated references to "getting laid"
  • A shot of various lubricants being used up
  • Several condom wrappers
  • Intensive kissing

For that matter, its title is "Sexiled."
