Fall Term 1977

• The Class of 1981 entered Carleton.
• After two issues this term, the Carleton Daily folded, having lost $2,600 over the past two terms. The Carletonian and the NNB resumed separate publishing.
• The Liter Bowl, the first and only NCAA-approved football game conducted using the metric system, was held on September 17. Carleton lost to St. Olaf 43-0.
