Strike of the Mongoose

"Strike of the Mongoose" was a short film directed by Samuel Papai '06, a freshman at the time, for DVD Fest 2003. It was notable for its impressive stunts and action sequences, as well as its humor. President Oden made an appearance as a victim of the evil Dr. Arkon ("you malevolent maligner of mankind").

It won third place at the festival, as well as winning Critic's Choice, the award chosen by the audience. It spawned a sequel, "Strike of the Mongoose: The Mongoose Strikes Back," which was shown at DVD Fest 2004.

Due to their academic workload, the creators of the film never made a third film in the series, despite the "To be continued" ending of the second one.
