Sustainable Living House is the official name of the shared interest living community interest house--actually, two interest houses--also known as Farm House. It is designed to "foster an awareness and appreciation of sustainable agriculture and sustainable living." (From the official description on Residential Life's web site.) The house is closely associated with Farm Club, which maintains their garden. Students living in Sustainable Living House tend an organic garden and host communal dinners. The house is off-board. Sustainable Living House currently occupies two houses near the Arb, Farm House and Parr House. This makes it the interest house that is furthest from the center of campus. In the Spring of 2006, Farm house became the subject of controversy when it was alleged in 2 campus publications, the CLAP and the Carl, that the house was a haven for drug users on campus.
