Allen House, which was once the infirmary, was a special-interest house in 1970-71, under a proposal from Bob Hyatt, with Fred Johnson as advisor; its avowed purpose was to provide peer counselling for fellow Carleton students.

from Jim Wrede '73, a resident of Allen House from Fall, 1970 until Spring, 1972, which I spent in a room in Goodhue with Scott Larson '74, who was my roommate on 4th Watson my senior year (1972-73).
