Language houses

Language houses existed way before 1996, as seperate houses. I think they were consolidated in Parish in 1996 (after my time), but they were around alot longer than that. --Dan Fehler '95 08:09, 27 Jul 2005 (PDT)

Are you sure that those weren't just Shared Interest Living Communities centered around those languages? If not, further information would be great. My only source is this page which states: "The Language Houses were established in 1996...." --Trevor Burnham '07 23:04, 27 Jul 2005 (PDT)
