Frequency of use

I changed the sentence about how common the word is used. I think it's an exaggeration to say that the word "prof" is "used almost to the total exclusion of 'professor'"; I hear the words "professor" and "professors" a lot, from students and, obviously, staff and faculty. --Trevor Burnham '07 13:51, 8 Apr 2005 (PDT)
