People called them "Dead Days" even when I was there. That wasn't even 2 years ago. Is it really true that no one calls them that anymore? Matthew Strait '03 19:30, 30 Mar 2005 (PST)

  • In my experience, the phrase "Reading Days" is actually more common, as well as more official, but the phrase "Dead Days" is certainly not unheard of. So yes, Ken's phrasing is a bit exaggerated. I'll reword it. (Edit: Actually, I'm not sure how to reword it; is he saying that "Dead Days" used to be the official term used by the college?
