Voice, also known as The Voice, is the alumni magazine of Carleton College. It consists primarily of articles about alumni, as well as academic articles by professors. Five issues are published each year: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, and an end-of-summer Supplement. In addition to being mailed out to alums in print form, it has been available online since its Fall 2000 issue. Back-issues can be found in Gould Library.
Voice debuted during the Fall of 1937. The earliest mention of it in The Carletonian was a piece in the November 3, 1937 issue soliciting students whose parents or grandparents attended the college to inform the Publications Office for a new magazine referred to as "The Voice of Carleton Alumni."
