Triple

A triple is a dorm room that houses three students; incoming freshmen are assigned to either a double or a triple. While most Carleton triples were designed to house three students and are significanty larger than doubles, some triples, such as those in Watson are actually emergency triples intended for two, not three, people.

Many triples, such as those in Burton and Nourse, feature multiple rooms. These rooms are often highly sought after because they allow one or two residents to sleep while the other one or two work. Not all dorms have triples, for example, Musser and Myers only have singles and doubles.
