From CarlWiki
Hi, I'm Trevor Burnham, the founder of CarlWiki. I was also the administrator until February 2008, when I appointed Steve Merry '10 as my replacement. You can contact me via e-mail or leave a message on my talk page.
I created CarlWiki during Winter Break 2004, having found out about the incredible Wikipedia during the previous summer. But I didn't make it well-known until Spring Term 2006, because I wanted to lay out a basic structure and implement some level of vandalism resistance before opening it up to the public.
My original class year was '07, but I took 2006-2007 as a leave of absence from Carleton, which makes me a member of the Class of '08.
If you're a Carleton person, you can find out more about me on Facebook or by reading my User File. I also have a personal blog.
Interests
- I'm a Math major, but my academic interests are very broad
- I plan to study Economics after graduation
- I was a CSA Senator for the 2006-2007 academic year
- I've taken two years of Japanese and spent six weeks in an immersion program in Tokyo
- I used to be a member of Carleton Forensics (Debate), but now I'm very much into Quiz Bowl
- I've worked at the SCIC for all of my three years at Carleton, and working on the SCIC's wiki inspired me to create a more general Carleton site
