WHOA House
From CarlWiki
The Wellstone House of Organization and Activism, commonly called WHOA House, is a shared interest living community interest house designed to foster grassroots political and social activism at Carleton. It is currently located in Chaney House.
The house is named for former Political Science Professor and Democratic U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, who died tragically in a plane crash in 2002. The house regularly hosts political discussions, presentations by visiting activists, and vegetarian dinners.
WHOA House did not show up for its scheduled interview with ResLife in Spring 2007 and was thus denied use of Chaney House for the 2007-2008 school year. ResLife also noted in the Carletonian that WHOA House had hardly scheduled any events during 2006-2007. WHOA will continue to exist as a campus organization in 07-08.
