Winter Break

Winter Break is the six-week period of time between Fall Term and Winter Term, encompassing both Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. Significantly longer than corresponding breaks at other higher educational institutions, it was initially ellongated to cut heating costs. Most students use the time to work at home, though many stay on campus.
