'''Chris Kratt''' is the co-host of television programs ''Kratt's Creatures'', ''Zoboomafoo'', and ''Be the Creature'' with his older brother [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Kratt Martin Kratt]. ''Kratt's Creatures'' and ''Zoboomafoo'' were aimed towards children and aired on PBS. ''Be the Creature'' is aimed at an older audience and airs on the National Geographic Channel.

Kratt graduated from Carleton in 1992 with a B.A. in [[biology major|biology]]. In 1990 he served as an intern at Conservation International in Washington, DC. He was also the recipient of a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.

He spoke at [[convocation]] on January 30, 2004.
